The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced Project Scheduler ready to contribute to Australia’s Land capability? We’re seeking a driven and detail-focused professional to join a leading Defence program within the Land Systems Division. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping complex and critical projects that support our national defence capability.
As a Project Scheduler, you’ll be responsible for the development, management, and continual improvement of the project schedule across all phases. Working closely with key stakeholders across the enterprise, you'll provide valuable insights and analysis to drive decision-making and keep projects on track. This role requires strong technical scheduling skills combined with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Maintain and continuously improve integrated project schedules across the lifecycleConduct schedule health checks and analysis on progress, baseline variations, and risk to timelinesEngage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders across the Land EnterpriseCoordinate with managers and project staff to ensure accurate schedule updatesProvide advice on scheduling impacts, critical path analysis, and forecastingAs the ideal candidate you will bring:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in project scheduling or project controls within the Defence.Proficiency in Open Plan Professional (or transferable scheduling software experience)Strong understanding of project governance, planning, budgets and schedule risk analysisExceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skillsStrong organisational and prioritisation skillsAll candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
