L2 Desktop Support Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on and proactive L2 Desktop Support Engineer to join our Global Desktop Engineering team. You'll provide advanced support for Windows Desktops (physical and virtual) and tackle escalations, helping us deliver a top-tier experience across our offices with a special focus on the APAC region.

 

The Role:

Support and maintain global desktop platforms and infrastructure. Manage OS patching and deployments across Windows environments. Package and deploy custom desktop applications. Act as the escalation point for APAC End User Services issues. Drive adoption of global standards while tailoring for local nuances. Mentor Service Desk and End User Services teams. Recommend and introduce new technologies for better security and user experience. Collaborate with Wintel, Network, and 3rd party teams on global desktop projects. Maintain strong documentation, standards, and reporting. Participate in large desktop transformation and modernization initiatives.

 

What you will bring:

Strong Windows 7/10/11 and Server support skills. Deep knowledge of Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp 7.15+ and VDI environments. Application deployment and OS imaging (SCCM, PowerShell scripting). Profile management (Appsense/Environment Manager) and Citrix policy optimization. Patch management and troubleshooting expertise (Memory Dumps, Application Logs). Exposure to Azure, Office365, VMware, Skype for Business, Sophos, and Thin Client technologies. Client-first mindset with excellent communication skills. Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries (preferred). Ability to document processes clearly and consistently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment. Inquisitive, solutions-driven, and detail-oriented.

 

Nice to Have:

Certifications: CCEA, CCP-V, MCSE, or MCITP. Experience with vulnerability management and LogicMonitor/Systrack monitoring tools.
