Amazon.com
The First Mile team is looking for an SPC Shift Manager to join our Seller Processing Center in Osasco, SP.
Are you ready to work hard, have fun and make history? If so, Amazon may be the right place for you. Our logistics teams are redefining the way we serve customers across the globe, solving some of the most complex challenges in the industry.
Amazon’s transportation network ensures packages are delivered efficiently and reliably, whether the items are large or small. As an SPC Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading operations within a Seller Processing Center. You will manage Team Leads, Operators and Delivery Service Providers, as well as oversee the performance and relationships with external staffing partners.
This role requires flexibility, leadership and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. We value bold ideas, test and learn approaches, and continuous improvement.
If you are customer-obsessed, thrive in dynamic environments and have experience in high-performance operations, we want to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
- Being based at one of our Seller Processing Centers (SPCs), working day and night shifts. Amazon operates 24/7, so this role includes shift work, which may involve weekends and holidays.
- Overseeing operations focused on the pickup of Amazon orders from sellers and ensuring they are sent to last mile stations for customer delivery.
- Supporting a team of operational leaders in the daily management of the SPC, including labor allocation, leading shift meetings, assigning tasks, and coordinating with internal and external partners.
- Managing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Dispatch and First Day Pickup Success, while continuously improving the customer experience.
- Applying strong analytical and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Being metrics-driven, investigating root causes quickly and using data to drive process improvements.
- Solving complex problems with practical, scalable solutions—without compromising quality or core functionality.
- Using excellent problem-solving and communication skills to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supporting the implementation of new systems and processes, providing hands-on support and collecting feedback for improvements.
- Mapping business requirements, analyzing workflows, and designing operational solutions.
- Leveraging software and hardware tools to ensure seamless daily operations, while ensuring associates have the necessary tools and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Reporting daily metrics and operational exceptions to internal teams and relevant departments across Amazon.
- Maintaining flexibility to work a variety of schedules based on business needs, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
