The First Mile team is looking for an SPC Shift Manager to join our Seller Processing Center in Osasco, SP.
Do you want to work hard, have fun, and make history? If so, Amazon could be the right career choice for you. Every day, our logistics teams are redefining how we serve customers around the world, tackling some of the biggest challenges in the logistics industry—not just for Amazon, but for the entire sector.
Amazon’s transportation teams ensure that packages of all sizes reach our customers quickly and reliably. As an SPC Shift Manager, you will lead daily operations in a Seller Processing Center, managing Team Leads, Associates, and Delivery Service Providers. You will also be responsible for overseeing performance and relationships with external staffing agencies.
This is a hands-on role in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment that feels more like a startup than a large corporation. We believe the best ideas are the ones we test and learn from, and we welcome innovation at every level.
Success in this role requires strong ownership, adaptability, and a customer-obsessed mindset. If you have experience leading teams in dynamic, high-growth environments, we’d love to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
- Being based at one of our Seller Processing Centers (SPCs), working day and night shifts. As Amazon operates 24/7, this role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
- Overseeing large-scale operations focused on the pickup of Amazon orders from sellers and ensuring timely handoff to last mile stations for final delivery to customers.
- Supporting a team of operational leaders in the daily management of the SPC. Responsibilities include labor planning, leading shift briefings, assigning tasks, and coordinating with both internal teams and external partners.
- Managing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Dispatch and First Day Pickup Success, while continuously improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Thinking analytically about projects and operations, with strong attention to detail, the ability to influence others, and excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrating a metrics-driven mindset, diving deep to identify root causes and drive sustainable improvements.
- Delivering practical, scalable solutions to complex problems without compromising quality or core functionality. Leveraging exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
- Providing hands-on support during the rollout and implementation of new systems or processes, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Mapping business requirements, analyzing current processes, and designing solutions to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Using software and hardware tools to support day-to-day operations, ensuring associates have the resources they need and coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Communicating daily metrics and operational exceptions to relevant teams within Operations and across Amazon.
- Maintaining availability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
