Qnity™, DuPont Electronics, we are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee and optimize our logistics operations in Korea. This role is pivotal in shaping our logistics strategies, driving operational excellence, and ensuring world class service to our customers through efficient management.
Responsibilities
Accountable for compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations relevant to logistics operations.
Develops, integrates and executes the supply chain and logistics strategy and plans in support of the business and functional strategies/COTs, and meet customer needs through integrated processes, systems and use of technology.
Serves as a point of contact for various stakeholders within business Integrated Operations / Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain Managers, Customer Service Managers and Commercial team.
Establishes the logistics performance targets and evaluates actual performance in support of business strategies
Represents the risks associated with the logistics network and current plans and develops options and contingencies to mitigate where needed
Understands and makes decisions based upon knowledge of upper quartile performance and the relationship and impact to the logistics network
Performs required SOX controls and establishes remediation plans for any controls that are not effective for all external warehouses in the network
Forecasts, analyzes and develops improvement plans for Fixed and Variable Finished Product Distribution Expense (FPDE)
Coordinate with site Logistics teams at the plants and with Corporate Logistics, leveraging logistics partner’s trade compliance knowledge and capabilities to enable the execution of global shipments within all applicable laws and regulations.
Plays a gatekeeper role between Product Management and Regulatory Affairs to assure product storage and transportation meets regulatory requirements
Manages the activities, performance, development, and capabilities of their Logistics Professionals.
Driving process simplification and standardization.
Define, prioritize and manage Continuous Improvement project activities in pursuit of network optimization
Builds and ensures capability and leveragability of the logistics systems, processes and best practices and their execution across all businesses globally.
Qualifications
BS/BA Logistics, Supply Chain, or business field
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service
Strong logistics and supply chain acumen
Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of successfully leading and developing teams
Team work and collaboration
Knowledge of IMDG/IATA/Incoterms/SDS/GHS
Strong continuous improvement concept
Self-driven and can-do attitude
Preferred Qualifications
SAP/ERP knowledge
CPSM, APICS CLTD Certification
