As a Channel Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sales and inventory data across our distributor network in Korea. This 18-month fixed-term role (with the possibility of extension), based in our Seoul office, offers a unique opportunity to gain regional exposure and contribute to data-driven decision-making in a highly collaborative environment.
You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Patient Solutions (SPPS) EurAsia and work closely with the Channel Data Center of Excellence (COE) team in Korea, currently comprising two team members also based in Seoul.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on operational excellence in Korea. You will gain deep insights into the Medtronic channel ecosystem and play a key role in enabling data-driven success.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
Inventory & Sales Out Data Collection:
+ Collect and upload (as applicable) inventory & sales out data from the distributors within the assigned geography.
+ Ensure timely data submission (as applicable)
+ Provide process training to the new distributors (data collection onboarding)
+ Provide process training to distributors transitioning to a new process (e.g. Channel Connect to DMS)
+ Maintain structured documentation and tracking of data submission status and any data issues
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., DRO, Sales Operations, Sales Leaders) to ensure distributor data aligns with overall channel strategy
Data Validation & Reporting:
+ Perform inventory & sales out data validation and quality checks (as applicable) in a timely manner.
+ Communicate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Indirect Channel Execution) and the distributors to resolve any potential data quality issues in a timely manner.
+ Generate regular and on-demand reports using Excel and relevant tools to support internal visibility
+ Use Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, basic formulas/macros) to analyze trends and identify discrepancies
+ Track KPIs and provide insights to support business decisions
+ Identify process improvement opportunities based on data analysis and trends
Customer Code Management:
+ Managing customer master data processes to ensure data accuracy as the Local Data Expert (LDE) in Korea
+ Coordinate with relevant external stakeholders to validate customer information and ensure proper code setup
+ Maintain accurate records of customer code requests and changes
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications
+ At least 2 years of experience in any administrative role or relevant experience in channel data management.
+ Good interpersonal skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English with the ability to connect across all hierarchical levels
+ Strong data analysis skills with Advanced level in MS Excel
+ High attention to detail and accuracy
+ Good prioritization and organizational skills
+ Strong ability to work well within a team and autonomously
+ Achievement oriented and ability to drive results with the highest quality standards
+ Experience to have problem solving via Lean or other innovation methodology
+ Industry and IT systems launch project experience is highly regarded
