About Firmwide AI and Knowledge Management
The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm. Within Firmwide AI, the Knowledge Management team is responsible for providing the internal content that Wealth Management employees need to do their jobs every day. The team oversees the creation, governance and delivery of high-quality content where and when it’s needed -- whether end users access it on the Web or from an AI Chatbot. Our content governance program is unique in the Firm. The content quality it delivers is the foundation of our AI success. And we’re dedicated to continuously improving and streamlining those processes, using automation and GenAI, to make the creative process easier for our Authors and for all of Morgan Stanley.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong technical background to join our team at Morgan Stanley. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and maintaining roadmaps, timelines, testing and risk-governance processes for all projects of the Knowledge Management team within Firmwide AI.
In addition, this team member may perform testing to meet risk-governance requirements for our projects and will have the opportunity to create generative AI-based agents (GPTs) to enhance content management and governance processes for our team and across the Firm.
Outside of our immediate team, this role will liaise with the Central AI team, Legal/Risk/Compliance and Technology as well as business teams across the Firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Work closely with the leads of Agile Development, Governance, Support and Analytics teams to fully document projects, roadmaps, timelines and dependencies. Maintain current status and reporting. Testing and Evaluation: Understand risk-related testing requirements for GenAI projects, help design and execute testing and evaluation plans, document and present results to legal/risk/compliance partners as needed.
Meeting and Presentation Planning and Prep: Own and run Knowledge Management-related meetings, providing agenda and creating/gathering slides and demos.
Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain trusting and effective relationships with internal stakeholders such as Legal/Risk/Compliance, Central AI team content owners and authors across the Firm. Manage expectations and address any concerns or issues that arise.
Experimentation: Conceive, prototype and test GPTs to assist with our team’s functions using our GenAI agent-building tool.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with all teammates and stakeholders. Risk Management: Identify potential risk and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track project performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress against objective and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications/Skills Required or Preferred:
Bachelor’s DegreeProven experience in personally engaging but relentlessly effective Project ManagementUnderstanding of Content Management (Adobe Experience Manager a plus)Understanding of User Experience (UX Design a plus)Familiarity with Agile Development MethodologyStrong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and technologiesTeam player with excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills (Tableau a plus)Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work as part of widely distributed global team. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
