Job Title: Knowledge Management Strategist

ALTA IT is seeking a Knowledge Management Strategist to design, implement, and optimize a centralized, reusable content repository in ServiceNow Knowledge Base. Acting as the “ultimate librarian,” this role will capture and structure institutional knowledge, ensuring it is organized, accessible, and reusable for long-term value. The ideal candidate has successfully built knowledge management strategies from the ground up and driven adoption across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a knowledge management strategy, including governance, taxonomy, and workflows.

Build and maintain a ServiceNow Knowledge Base, ensuring content is accurate, searchable, and reusable.

Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture, document, and standardize institutional knowledge.

Migrate and curate content into the central repository, applying consistent style and formatting standards.

Promote adoption of knowledge management best practices across the organization.

Measure program effectiveness and continuously improve content usability and accessibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, or related fields.

Proven experience building and implementing ServiceNow Knowledge Base environments.

Strong understanding of knowledge management principles, reusable content strategies, and governance.

Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences to extract and document complex information.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with knowledge-centered service (KCS) methodology.

Background in IT, customer service, or operational documentation.
