CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Knowledge Management and Quality Assurance (KM/QA) Lead to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative (ITI2.1) team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

CACI is seeking a motivated **Journeyman Knowledge Management and Quality Assurance (KM/QA) Lead** to join our **Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative (ITI2.1)** program team in **Northern Virginia** . As part of an Agile PMO, you’ll help ensure operational excellence and quality in support of one of the Department of Homeland Security’s most critical missions.
In this role, you will support knowledge sharing, process standardization, and quality management practices across a fast-paced program combining Agile software development and hardware integration.
**Your Responsibilities Will Include:**
**Quality Assurance**
+ Support the implementation and upkeep of the **Quality Control Plan (QCP)** , ensuring processes align with SLAs and program objectives.
+ Assist in quality reviews and audits of program deliverables, tracking peer review feedback and QA metrics.
+ Help monitor compliance with established quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
+ Prepare quality documentation and assist with reporting quality performance at monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
+ Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action tracking for any quality issues that arise.
**Knowledge Management**
+ Maintain and update KM repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence) to ensure version control and information accessibility.
+ Assist in developing SOPs, templates, and documentation standards to support consistent knowledge sharing across the team.
+ Facilitate recurring content reviews and updates, ensuring team adherence to KM processes.
+ Promote knowledge reuse and process alignment by supporting retrospectives and process improvement initiatives.
**Team Collaboration**
+ Collaborate closely with program leads, scrum teams, and the CBP customer to track deliverables and ensure documentation meets quality expectations.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Agile metrics collection and reporting related to quality and knowledge outputs.
+ Coordinate with the CBP QA team to align internal practices with external expectations and compliance goals.
**You’ll Bring These Qualifications:**
+ U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a CBP background investigation, including:
+ 3-year check for felony convictions
+ 1-year check for drug use
+ 1-year check for misconduct such as fraud or theft
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, Communications)
+ 5 or more years of experience in knowledge management, quality assurance, documentation coordination, or similar operational support roles
+ Familiarity with **Agile development processes** and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
+ Strong attention to detail and experience managing version control, templates, and documentation standards
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ **Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VA**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience supporting DHS or other federal government programs
+ Basic understanding of QA methodologies, service level agreements (SLAs), and risk management processes
+ Familiarity with ITIL, ISO, or CMMI frameworks
+ Ability to work in a hybrid environment (part onsite in Sterling, VA)
+ ITIL v4 Foundation certification (a plus)

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,800 - $148,600
