ALLOCATOR
What will you do?
In this role, you will be a key member of the team, working to ensure Kipling products are available to our consumer at the right time, at the right place, and in the correct quantity. It will be your responsibility to manage appropriate inventory levels across all product categories for the Brick & Mortar business in the US, to ensure we maximize revenue, profit and inventory goals. You will be focusing on the Outlet channel, reporting to the Director of DTC Planning & Allocation and working closely with the entire DTC team. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days/week from our Jersey City, NJ HQ, and 2 days/week from home.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
• You’ll establish and maintain proper levels and flow of product to stores across the portfolio using data as your guide
• You’ll evaluate sales results to ensure physical stores stay within all capacity requirements and initiate store-to-store transfers as needed
• You’ll create, maintain, and analyze inventory tools and reports to minimize stock imbalances, track inventory movement, identify opportunities, and execute action plans to drive results in-season
• You’ll partner with key stakeholders on store rankings to inform initial allocations and replenishment strategies
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product flows smoothly from system to store, floor sets are met on time, and store inventory issues are escalated and resolved
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
1-3 years in the retail environment, or experience in allocation, planning, or inventory managementProficiency in Excel and comfort working with software platforms and systemsThe ability to do detailed work accurately and efficiently, interpret and communicate results, and take appropriate actionThe ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsThere are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
Experience with allocation systems, e.g. JDA, Blue Yonder, Island PacificFamiliarity with retail math and KPIsKnowledge of supply-chain logisticsExperience in customer-facing environments (e.g. retail or the service industry)Now WE have a question for YOU.

Hiring Range:
$70,400.00 USD - $88,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
