Tamiz is a small newly established Elementary school with an aspiration to provide excellent international education to the children of the employees of Four Seasons Tamarindo and the surrounding communities. We are looking for a candidate who will be providing differentiated instruction to a combined group of 3rd year of Kinder (Mexican system) and 1st grade of primary school, children of 5-6 years old.
What you will do:
Establish and develop a relevant curriculum based on the guidelines provided by the school
Work ethically, honestly, and in a trustworthy manner at all times.
Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
Maintain discipline
Organize the classroom and learning resources, create displays to encourage a positive learning environment
Ensure that children are safe and that all child protection and safeguarding measures are followed in accordance with the national law, school policy and best international practices
Provide feedback to parents and carers on a student's progress
Organize and take part in school events, outings and activities, which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly
What you bring:
College degree
Teaching experience of minimum 2 years
Native or fluent Spanish speaker
Excellent classroom management
Experience with using technology for work-related responsibilities
Willingness to collaborate with other teachers in a working productive relationship
English and working experience in international schools is an advantage
Experience with differentiated instruction

Schedule & Hours:
This is a full time position
This role primarily works Monday through Friday, although may be asked to work other shifts, based on business volume.
