Kids Club Assistant
What will I be doing?

As a Kids Club Assistant, you are responsible for creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable experience while under your care. You will also support the department in reaching its service and satisfaction goals.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Supervise and care for children in a welcoming, friendly, and professional manner

Organize and lead recreational, educational, and creative activities (e.g., games, crafts, storytelling, etc.)

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment at all times

Welcome children and parents with a warm and positive attitude

Maintain accurate check-in/check-out records of children

Communicate effectively with parents, addressing any concerns or special needs

Promote activities and encourage participation

Follow child safety, hygiene, and emergency protocols at all times

Assist in the setup and cleanup of the Kids Club area before and after activities

Support team efforts in achieving guest satisfaction and departmental goals

Comply with hotel safety, fire, and health regulations

Coordinate with other hotel departments when needed for special events or activities

What are we looking for?

Ability to remain calm and responsible in high-energy or unexpected situations

Strong sense of safety and attention to detail

Team player and proactive mindset

Previous experience in childcare, education, recreation, or similar roles is preferred

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus

Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards

Flexibility to adapt to different situations and group dynamics

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following:

Previous experience working with children (recreation, childcare, education, etc.)

Knowledge of child safety and first aid practices

Creativity in planning and delivering engaging activities

Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness in children's environments
