Key Accounts and HoReCa Lead

 

The Key Account and HoReCa Lead is responsible for driving sales and market share growth within the Key Account and HoReCa channels by working closely with Sales Director to develop the strategic plans and leading the team to execute the plans, builds strong customer relationships, and achieves business objectives in alignment with organizational goals

 

As the Key Accounts and HoReCa Lead in the are of Sales, you will do the following:

 

1.) Business Strategic Planning: Work closely with Sales Director to develop KA strategy, investment, volume & profit targets by customer by brand to maximize JTI's visibility and presence in key accounts and to drive business expansion and improvement.

 

2.) Business Efficiency Updates and Review: Leads the comprehensive planning, preparation, and analysis of monthly and quarterly business performance reviews, identifying gaps and opportunities by assessing trade service levels through sales performance, market trends, and audit findings. Monitors key performance indicators (SOM, volume, return-on-objectives) and manages trade issue escalation and resolution rates. Provides ongoing updates to senior management along with proposed action plans to address identified business efficiency challenges

 

3.) Customer Relationship and Stakeholder Management: Cultivates and leads strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders through effective public relations and feedback mechanisms, addressing trade issues with integrity and providing management and customers with regular, actionable updates to improve KPI performance, account reviews, and compliance audits. Guides and advises stakeholders on POSM and program calendars, ensuring clear communication and smooth implementation of both national and localized initiatives to drive market share and increase sales volume

 

4.) Team Management: Leads, motivates, and inspires the assigned team by providing clear direction, guidance, coaching, and mentoring in line with JTI’s vision and core values. Oversees team performance, professional development, and the cultivation of a positive work attitude, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards

 

5.) Other Tasks: To handle various projects and tasks as they arise and upon the Sales Director's request.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

University degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, and Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managerial postion from FMCG - Sales: National account management, category management, profit mix optimzation. Good in English and local language (Khmer) communciation, writing, speaking and listening. Strong analytical and reporting skills (KPI tracking, performance reporting, market trend analysis) Strategy development capability (medium & long term).  Experience of developing investment strategy & trade terms & implementing them. Good understanding of FMCG sales cycles, trade dynamics, and ROI measurement. Good knowledge of tobacco industry standards, legislation (desirable but not necessary). Strong interpersonal skills, to engage and to effectively communicate with different stakeholders and to lead and motivate the team. Strong ability to influence, negotiate and solve conflicts independently Highly resilient individual who can develop best practice negotiation strategy. Can negotiate individually and lead negotiating teams Proven skills in managing teams, coaching & developing others Passionate about coaching & developing people Setting & achieving targets through others that grow the business. Good proficiency in MS Office Applications.
