The Key Account Sales Manager-Ortho calls on major or national accounts to cultivate relationships, identify opportunities, and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages a book of strategic Ortho Service Organization accounts Promotes and supports Ortho initiatives within non-OSO accounts in collaboration with the National Account Management team to drive new opportunities and SOW gains Drives top-line profitable sales against specific budget growth expectations within assigned accounts Originates sales plans that result in attainment of established revenue goals, enhanced relationships with existing and new customers Directs strategic planning, implementation, and support in assigned accounts to ensure quality and integration and to resolve problems to the customers’ and the company’s satisfaction Prepares “LAMP” plan for assigned accounts and monitors performance to ensure that current and anticipated needs are met Conducts selling presentations in both traditional and innovative ways that lead to successful and profitable customer relationships Interacts with customer key players, independently or in collaboration with distributors/territory managers to build account management plan Functions as the primary liaison between Dentsply Sirona and customers for market information, product definition, value differentiation, and partnership program implementation Manage and create Special Markets- Specific Marketing Program Analyzes issues that impact customers and proactively communicate those issues with the appropriate internal work groups Address customer complaints in an appropriate and professional manner.  Escalating concerns as required by current processes. Assists in training and educating NAM team with regards to Ortho products and services Complies with company and departmental policies and with administrative requirements such as monthly and T&E reporting Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required 

 

Certifications/Licensing:

Valid driver’s license is required

 

Years and Type of Experience:

Mandatory - three to five years demonstrated successful business to business sales history within the orthodontic vertical.

 

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

Capable of working independently Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public Must display interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers, employees and others in a professional and tactful manner Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals Organizes and conducts meetings and product training sessions with a variety of audiences to build product demand Ability to meet divisional goals and key performance objectives Analytical skills, negotiation skills and strong executive presence Ability to take on additional role assignments, including special projects and leadership activities Ability to handle conflict and resolve problems quickly Capable of working independently Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis up to 8 hours per day Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
