About the role: 

Convatec Infusion Care is seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the sales of our Neria™ branded infusion sets through partners in multiple markets. 

As a Key Account Manager, you will be accountable for driving and supervising selected B2B partners and distributors notably in Europe but also in the US. You will develop a thorough understanding of the Med Tech and the Key Account environment, its visions, challenges, and opportunities and you will have a pivotal role in our international commercial team within Infusion Care. 

In this role, you will cover selected geographical markets and will be instrumental in strategically advancing distributor relations and contributing to the anticipated revenue growth within these regions. Key aspects of this position include building a network and establishing connections with key stakeholders and new influential customers and implementing sales strategies across a range of distributors.  

You report to the Senior Key Account Manager Convatec Infusion Care and will be working out of our office in Søborg, Denmark with the possibility to work from home several days a week. 

Your key areas of responsibility: 

Commercial responsibility for your key accounts in Europe and in the US, where you will manage your partnerships and contracts via regular touch points and business meetings and build trusted relationships by demonstrating a professional and superior service mindset. Internally you will be working with colleagues in various supporting functions ensuring excellent operational performance

Provide market data, budgets, estimates, and customer demand forecasts  

Coordinate sales and marketing activities with your customers and Convatec IC marketing 

Undertake product management activities including, but not limited to:

o Drive product related requests with B2B customers, amongst others in relation to new market entries

o Coordination with your customers the implementation of changes to product packaging, ensuring local regulatory market requirements are fulfilled across all markets

o Coordination internally around product allocation topics and tasks. May include access to our SAP system

You will also drive and consolidate CVT ICs new set up in collaboration with our US team, local partners, and internal stakeholders

Involvement in projects and tasks on ad hoc basis, usually arising from internal optimization projects  

About you: 

Experience: 

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economic or similar, alternatively an equivalent education combined with relevant experience 

Minimum 3 years of experience in international commercial business roles i.e. Sales and Marketing or Business Development 

Experience in managing international customer relationships 

Experience from larger international manufacturing company within medical devices, alternatively from pharmaceutical, biologics, or related industry 

Experience working in SAP is a plus but not a requirement 

Skills: 

You are highly motivated, determined with a strong interpersonal skillset to enable building trusted relationships with B2B customers 

You have the ability to negotiate and manage through influence 

Excellent communication and presentation skills 

Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt priorities according to business and strategic needs 

A clear drive and focus on what is important and what needs to be done to enable success 

Solid English language skills both written and spoken as a main requirement.

Travel Requirements: 

• Approximately 10-20 international travel days per year must be expected both within Europe and overseas
