Key Account Manager - Ebury (FTC until September 2026)

 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join the Sales team at Ebury on a fixed term basis until September 2026.

 

Ebury are the non-fiction specialists at Penguin Random House, leading the market in all aspects of popular non-fiction.  So, if you’re excited about the prospect of working with Yotam Ottolenghi or Nathan Antony, Fearne Cotton or Kirsty Gallagher, Greg James or Louise Thompson, Steven Bartlett or Caitlin Moran, or perhaps just our very own Charlie Mackesy then Ebury could be the place for you. 


In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Ebury division, production, and inventory teams to ensure seamless operations. You'll proactively analyse market trends and provide strategic recommendations to the Sales Manager, influencing key decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for sales, a keen eye for detail, and a customer-centric mindset. 

 

Key responsibilities:
 

Work collaboratively and creatively with buyers and booksellers to build a successful relationship with these key retail partners. Proactively feeding your expert market knowledge back into the division and working with key stakeholders to influence and drive strategy across the business. Presenting key titles to the mass market and securing support for relevant titles. Engaging with sales, marketing, publicity and editorial teams, as well as other UK account managers, in order to maximise sales opportunities and to help connect readers with our authors, brands and books. Reporting and analysing sales data and contributing to relevant divisional meetings

 

What you’ll bring

 

Essential criteria:
 

Solid commercial background in sales or retail Proven experience managing customer relationships and accounts, ideally within a retail or publishing environment.  A passion for publishing and demonstrable interest in working specifically for Ebury Strong presentation skills. The ability to influence.  Commercial acumen and sales analysis skills   An attention to detail

Salary

 

Circa £41,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits. 
 

Hybrid working

 
While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role we expect that you will work from our office in London a minimum of two days per week.
