A results-driven Key Account Manager with over 7 years of experience in the food ingredient industry. Bilingual in Korean and English, with a proven track record of managing strategic customer relationships and driving sales growth across diverse markets. Skilled in Customer Management, Sales Planning, Execution, and Project Management, consistently delivering value through tailored solutions and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key responsibilities

Customer Management

Engage in regular customer visits and coordinate scheduled meetings with key stakeholders across multiple functions - including R&D, Marketing, Quality Control/Quality Assurance, and Procurement—to foster collaboration and strengthen strategic partnerships. Responsible for achieving sales goals across all of Kerry’s technologies through the customer engagement such as marketing seminar, technical session reactively and proactively. Establish and develop strong relationship and knowledge of key customers Define and grow the business through effective customer management and the business plans for the responsible customers. Communicate and consistently monitor progress of the execution of the key account strategies. Manage distributor relationships and enhance their sales effectiveness through proactive product presentations, targeted training sessions, and ongoing support initiatives.

 

Sales Planning, Execution & Project Management

Drive results by establishing clear, actionable sales plans and setting measurable short and long term goals aligned with business objectives. Promote and sell a diverse portfolio of food ingredient products and innovative technologies to key accounts. Provide sales forecast to relevant internal departments. Lead and drive the project process and utilize each function group to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Explore and develop the potential customers and opportunities with Kerry SKU/Products. Market analysis and understanding the competitors and their products and strategies. Identify strategic key customers and develop tailored sales promotion programs, comprehensive strategies, and executable projects to maximize market impact and customer engagement.

 

Qualifications and skills Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field Over 7 years of experience in the packaged food industry with a strong track record of success Skilled in negotiation and cross-functional communication across internal departments and external partners Proficient in budgeting and strategic account planning to optimize commercial performance Solid foundation in scientific disciplines including Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Nutrition, and Regulatory compliance Demonstrated ability to resolve complex challenges and effectively manage crisis situations
