Key Account Manager
Our client, a renowned manufacturer and supplier in their field, are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their thriving team based in Crawley.

The Role:
As a Key Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and nurturing a portfolio of key distribution network accounts. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth, build long-term partnerships, and ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle.

This is a varied role that blends relationship management, strategic sales development, and customer service, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of key accounts within the distribution network, maintaining strong and lasting relationshipsProactively identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling tailored solutionsDevelop a deep understanding of each customer's business, challenges, and objectives to align product and service offerings accordinglyPrepare and deliver regular reports on key metrics, forecasts, and sales performanceTake ownership of sales targets, KPIs, and revenue growth objectivesRepresent the company at trade shows and industry events, promoting the brand, expertise, and product rangeSupport the administration of accounts - including order processing, quotation preparation, and onboarding new customersMonitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunitiesAct as a liaison between clients and the innovation team, providing valuable feedback and insightsResolve customer queries and challenges quickly and professionally with a customer-centric approach
About You:Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales or business development roleStrong understanding of the sales process with a solid record of achieving sales targetsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsAble to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholdersHighly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing your own pipelineA strong customer focus with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding serviceTechnical aptitude is an advantageFull UK driving licence required
