This position will be responsible for the profitable sales- and share of wallet (SOW) growth with multinational Key Accounts in Asia Pacific. You will work closely with the AP General Manager as well as the Global Key Account Managers for the specific accounts to align the AP growth strategies with these accounts with the global strategy. You will provide the AP component of the global account strategy for the relevant accounts and create a network within the Key Accounts structure to drive incremental sales.
Responsibilities
Define sales plans and new business development activities and coordinate strategy with Global Key Account Managers
Work closely with global and regional segment managers, as well as technical and technical service organization to ensure proper support and resources are provided to the Key Accounts
Use PPG internal network to influence decision making in Key Accounts to increase SOW with PPG in AP
Lead and manage sales teams to profitably grow business
Co-ordinates the activities of all functions with whom the customer has direct contact in order to provide a consistent and cohesive service. Monitors competitive activity within accounts and disseminates information to relevant parties.
Well prepare and deliver routine, project sales reports and presentation on time, prepare and supervise all internal and external delivery of sales presentations to key accounts and management to ensure sales on track. Keep CRM and sales forecast up to date
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years practical experience in a B2B sales environment with multinational customers
Demonstrate leadership capability with strong resource management skills.
Experience in coating, chemical, compound, ink, metal, pre-treatment or similar environment
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Ability to work and influence effectively with management, sales teams and customers
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills for internal and external contacts. (+ manage communication in global time zones)
