**Job Description**
**Job Title: Key Account Manager - Public Market (Vaccines)**
**Location: India, Mumbai**
**About the role:**
Takeda sees a world where all people across the globe, regardless of age, race, or socio-economic class are protected against the threat of dengue.
A critical priority for the Takeda Vaccines BU is to help ensure all patients, regardless of background, have equal access to recommended vaccines and to help customers overcome barriers to immunization in the institutional settings. The Vaccines KAM will drive sales execution in institutional and public accounts, in a given geography. The customers will include policy makers, payors, prescribers, institutional stakeholders and relevant industry bodies. This role will partner with a broad set of cross functional stakeholders including Payer Marketing, Field sales teams, Tenders team, Public Affairs, Medical Affairs and Supply Chain. This person is responsible to identify Most Valuable Customers (e.g. large corporations, chain groups, insurance, hospitals or private payers), and form partnership with relevant stakeholders strategically to grow the business and improve patient care, both short and long term.
This role requires strong India institutional business acumen, excellent strategic thinking and project management skills, the ability to lead and work collaboratively across disciplines, the ability to translate insights into action as well as outstanding leadership and strong communication skills. This position will be reporting to the National KAM Head, Vaccines.
**How you will contribute:**
**Account Planning & Management**
+ Identify and segment the Key Accounts, generate leads, and owns the account management.
+ Map the key decision makers and influencers, acquires in-depth account insights, and develop key account plan for brand adoption.
+ Updates key account plans in CRM system; takes ownership of customer service requests and enquiries.
+ Drives account reviews with cross-functional team by establishing goals, actions, KPIs, tracks and responds to results.
+ Partner with cross-functional team to build and execute account plans with a focus on patient centric solutions and vaccination programs.
+ Develops customized value propositions and solutions to all partners for preventative health education and vaccination campaigns.
+ Cultivate long-term business relationship of Key Accounts to build customer trust and value.
**Build and Strengthen Customer Engagement**
+ Develops and apply understanding of customers and networks that affect account decisions and coordinates with key stakeholders to be a trusted partner.
+ Establishes rapport and credibility with customers to support key decision makers and builds relationship with the organization.
+ Develops and presents business proposals that meet customers’ objectives. Leads pricing and contract negotiation activities with customers to facilitate closure of proposal.
+ Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to plan, execute and deliver tailored customer engagement programs that serve account goals.
+ Responsible to maintain professional payor interactions and ensure team compliance.
+ Sustains and builds customer/ partner relationships by maintaining ongoing communication and negotiation sessions with customer/ partners so as to deliver both quality and tailored service offerings.

**What you bring to Takeda:**
**QUALIFICATION / ATTRIBUTES**
+ Degree in Pharmacy/ Science/ Business Studies/ Marketing is preferred.
+ Strong ethical and judgement framework and ability to drive business the right way
+ Preferably 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ consumer health industry, particularly roles in sales and marketing
+ Candidates with experiences in vaccines will have added advantage.
+ Proven track records in planning, managing or delivering complex cross-functional projects.
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Able to analyze data/insights and translate results into better solutions.
+ Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in pressure environment and work towards delivering results.
+ Goal-oriented, organized team player, self-motivated and self-directed.
+ Proven results of delivering customer solutions and achieving business goals.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with presentation skills to large groups.
+ Willing to travel within India
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Masters degree
+ Vaccines institutional business knowledge
