Key Account ManagerLondon, UK (Hybrid)This is a role will be in our Global Perspectives team and designed to work with clients on a daily basis. You will conduct feasibility assessments for client requests before providing a full proposal. Your role will involve managing key clients, developing proposals and contracting new projects.Global Perspectives is an exciting team within IQVIA that provides patient recruitment services for non-interventional and commercial/market research studies to clients globally. The post holder would be part of an EMEA Regional Team, with the delivery team based largely in Spain. The postholder could be based anywhere within EMEA, with some travel expected as part of the role.Core activities of the role include:Key Account managementManage existing key accounts, maintaining and driving growth in proposal requests and salesDevelop a strategic account planning process for current accountsDesign key performance metrics for current accounts, review on a regular basis and support for the team in developing action plansCoordinate with internal teams to gather information to support proposalsEnsure completion of sales administrative tasks including project contractingNew account development, expected to focus on Clinical Research Outsourcing customer segment offering Real World and Market Research solutions to pharma cosIdentification of potential new accounts for the Global Perspectives patient recruitment offering, determine the client need and how our solution may meet those needsDevelop and share collateral relating to our patient recruitment offeringDetermine competitive positioning of the offerSecure new requests which convert into sales and expand the footprint of the businessMarketing and thought leadershipIdentify key conferences to attend to increase visibility of the offerEnsure the team attending conferences has the right training on the patient recruitment offering to talk to potential clients in a compelling mannerNetwork at conferences to extend awarenessThis is an exciting opportunity to develop and extend the IQVIA Global Perspectives offer with potential clients. It is anticipated that this will be a highly diverse client base, but focused on CROs, consultancies and academic institutions. The success of the postholder will be measured on the volume of requests and sales from current and new clients for our offeringExperience required:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum of 5 years working experience in a client servicing or account management roleExtensive experience in a commercial sales environment, demonstrated through meeting key metrics and achievement of high annual sales volumesGood marketing skills and ability to verbalise clear and concise positioning of offerDemonstrated strong analytical/problem solving and organization skillsSelf-learner with a quick learning aptitude and can work independently.Experience working in a fast paced environment with high turnover of proposals and projectsExcellent networker, strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal leaders and external clientsPassion for bringing the Patient Voice into scientific and commercial decision making for pharma companies
