Our Downstream Chemical Team uses technology consisting of chemistry, knowledge expertise, Intellectual Property, correct application methods and monitoring to improve the water and process treatment applications at refinery and industrial plants while providing value to our clients.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans that are aligned with customer’s business plan to deliver growth in targeted area

Building relationships with key customers at both corporate and refining facilities

Performing standard account management practices to understand customer needs, requirements, and potential sales opportunities while managing account P&L

Mentoring service delivery personnel for assigned customer account(s)

Applying or leading the application of innovative ideas and technologies to create a business or organizational advantage

Managing customer contracts to maximize profitability while monitoring and evaluating programs and expenditures

Travel 50% of the time (majority of travel will be domestic)

Open to remote work location in USA with easy access to major airport

To be successful in this role you will have:

Bachelor's Degree is required preferably in a Sciences or Engineering field

10 plus years’ experience in refining hydrocarbon treatment or industrial water treatment sales

10 plus years’ experience in downstream refining sales

5 plus years’ experience with P&L management experience

Proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line growth

Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions

Comprehensive understanding of company products/applications and services

50% business travel required

Excellent business acumen

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor's Degree in a Sciences or Engineering field

15+ years’ experience in refining hydrocarbon treatment sales or industrial water treatment sales

10+ years of direct P&L management

5+ years of corporate sales experience at the C-suite level

Commercial negotiations experience with large corporate contracts in the downstream refining market
