The Position
As a Key Account Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving formulary and market access strategy for Novo Nordisk's innovative portfolio in Diabetes, Obesity, and Rare Diseases. You will lead a team of Key Account Executives, ensure stakeholder engagement, and support cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Lead the execution of access strategies across the public and private sectors in KSA. Build and nurture strong relationships with procurement bodies, insurance companies, and healthcare institutions. Analyze market data and performance trends to inform strategic planning and commercial decision-making. Collaborate with the marketing and medical teams to align on payer value propositions and product positioning. Deliver coaching, performance management, and development plans for your team to meet company KPIs.
Qualifications
On a personal level, you are a confident, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the healthcare environment in Saudi Arabia. You’re proactive, data-driven, and can manage multiple stakeholders with ease. You inspire teams and embody Novo Nordisk values while aiming to make a difference.
We expect you to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector. People management experience is preferred. Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare system, market dynamics, and access strategies. High proficiency in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) function is very critical to short-term and strategic affiliate priorities. To keep the focus on those responsibilities, MAPA team members are leading the transformation initiatives and striving for cross-function execution excellence internally and in the field. The function covers pricing activities, key account management for private, Field market access, and public affairs.
