**VCA Blum Animal Hospital** is seeking a full-time **Kennel Assistant** for our hospital. Come join our growing animal hospital with 5 veterinarians and more than 30 support staff! Our hospital has been AAHA Accredited since 1972 and Fear Free Certified since 2018. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Cleaning cages + Feed and caring for dogs and cats + Walking dogs + Bathing dogs + Laundry + Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises + Assisting medical staff when necessary **Qualifications include:** + Energetic, personable and patient-oriented + Task-oriented with attention to detail + Strong communication skills + Ability to stand comfortably for sustained periods of time + Ability to lift 20lbs + Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment + Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is a plus! **We are seeking a full-time employee to work Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 6:30pm.** We are proud to have a rewarding workplace environment that offers benefits.
