Job Description

Your tasks:

Management of inventories within the SO organizationProject work for stock optimization (achieving TCT, scrapping, final stocking)Analyzing logistics concepts. Development, evaluation and implementation of new solution concepts, especially in the inventory environmentIntroduction and support of new software system (BlueYonder = BY, IO module) for inventory planning in the production networkConsultancy and training of employeesInterface function to higher-level committees

Main Tasks in a nutshell:

Reporting and inventories

Interface function between group manager and employees in reportingPreparation of reports for MGB and internal trackingAnalysing inventory categories and defining measuresCarrying out inventory reduction projects, checking and validating the resultsSupporting employees in improving work processesSupport / implementation of business planning, CF reconciliationsPreparation / support of monthly business reportsDerivation and tracking of targets for the SO unitsActual analysis of inventories / deviationsMHD analysisAnalyse inventory drivers, document in central tools (e.g. IMAP) and coordinate and track reduction measuresCarry out stock coverage analysisEvaluate blocked stocks and clear them with the relevant stakeholdersCreate and track scrapping requests, manage ‘Scrapping Inbox’Set indicators in the SAP system for corresponding stock categories (SI indicators)Carry out plausibility checks on stocks in SAP and BlueYonder

BlueYonder inventory module (BYIO) optimization

BlueYonder (BY) is the new planning and inventory optimization system for the HL production networkIntroduction of control process for ‘BYIO’ module for crossplant optimization of inventories in the HL networkDefine workflows and processesProvide data for BY and derive interface requirements from thisCarry out test and communicate feedbackTrain employeesCarry out the BYIO control process

QualificationsAt least 1 year experience in related fieldDegree in economics, business studies, business informatics or comparable qualificationFluent English skills in speaking and writingBasic Logistics Knowledge and Analytical thinkingIT and Reporting Skills (Office, SAP, APO, databases, BlueYonder,)Other Know-how’s:Process thinkingRecording interrelationships within the supply chain incl. mapping / visualization in the IT systemsValue stream orientated approachesCost awareness and ability to analyze projects from an economic perspectiveOur ideal candidate is open for acquiring new skills, communicative and a good problem solver,  and capable for the self-sufficient way of working.
