ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a Junior Training Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. This role will be critical in supporting our Customer in Portland, OR during a statewide implementation effort. This position will be a contract position, estimated to last approximately 9 months. The Junior Training Development Consultant will assist in designing, developing, and delivering training materials and sessions for liquor store owners and staff. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in instructional design, adult learning principles, and ERP system adoption. You will work closely with senior trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and the project team to ensure training meets end-user needs. SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: + Training Deveopment + Assist in creating user-friendly training materials (manuals, job aids, quick reference guides). + Contribute to the design of e-learning modules and classroom/virtual training sessions. + Help maintain and update training content as system requirements evolve. + Training Delivery + Support senior trainers during live (virtual or in-person) training sessions. + Conduct small group or one-on-one coaching sessions as needed. + Provide basic technical assistance during training rollouts. + Stakeholder Engagement + Work with SMEs and the project team to gather feedback and incorporate improvements. + Assist in preparing communications for liquor store owners about training schedules and expectations. + Documentation and Reporting + Track attendance, training completion, and participant feedback. + Assist in analyzing feedback to improve training effectiveness. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Associate’s degree in education, communications, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Basic understanding of training methodologies and adult learning principles. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn ERP-related software. + Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Experience in training or support roles, particularly in technology adoption projects. + Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Acumatica) or logistics/distribution processes. + Experience creating training content using tools such as PowerPoint, Captivate, or Articulate.
