Meaningful Work From Day One

Aligned with Brown-Forman long-term brand building and profit growth strategies, this position helps to optimize the route to new and existing consumers in the On-Trade. It will indirectly connect with consumers by optimizing the customer approach in the On-Trade business.

This position’s scope is to positively influence consumer purchase behavior by supporting the Senior Trade Marketing Manager to drive physical and mental availability of our American Whiskey brands in mainstream to (super) premium segments of the On-Trade channel.

This is an hybrid role (4 days a week in the office with Fridays at home)

What You Can Expect

Supports the annual set-up of optimal consumer & customer targets for the overseen On-Trade segments of the Senior Trade Marketing Manager in collaboration with Brand Management, Sales On-Trade team (National Field Force Manager, Regional Field Force Managers and Sales Representatives) and other Marketing functions.

Supports the ideation, development, planning, execution and evaluation of supervised On-Trade activities/ promotions:

Leads & briefs external agencies on smaller projects and promotions.

Coordinates with On-Trade Regional Field Force Managers, Brand Advocacy Managers & Brand Management and other relevant stakeholders.

Regularly provides reports on promotion efficiency and progress to plan status.

Supports the annual set-up of related A&P budgets for the supervised brands. Aligns with Finance on correct accounting and independently tracks the budget for the managed activities. 

Responsible for the sourcing, development, administration and further inclusion in internal and external processes of POS material for supervised brands and activities in the On-Trade together with the Purchasing Department.

Supports the On-Trade related maintenance of Sales Reps supportive tool POS-Shop incl. inventory management of supervised POS material and coordination between internal and external partners.

Collaborates with the Market Category Consumer Insights (MCCI) Team Germany, Sales On-Trade team (Reg. Field Force Managers & Sales Reps) to gain more On-Trade facts and consequently insights (e.g. via in-market tests, studies etc.).

Participation in regional Field Force & selected brand and Key Account meetings.

What You Bring to the Table

Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent).

Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or trained HORECA manager.

FMCG experience.

First experience with Off-/ On-Trade channel, Trade Marketing or Brand Marketing preferred.

Fluent German and English in writing and speaking.

Strategic and conceptual skills.

Dedicated to pursuit of excellence.
