About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Technical Service and Applications Specialist (SE4) to join our team in Trinidad. This is a field-based position providing comprehensive technical and application support for our Clinical Chemistry and Hematology laboratory equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in project implementation, equipment installation, and user training. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at problem-solving and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Provide first-level onsite and remote technical and application support for Clinical Chemistry and Hematology laboratory equipment. Participate in project implementations, ensuring seamless installation and integration of new platforms. Deliver comprehensive training to end-users on the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams using agile methodologies. Maintain established alignment and standardization procedures. Keep meticulous records and manage administrative tasks related to service activities. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in relevant technologies and equipment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Medical Technology with a strong foundation in electronics. Entry-level experience or demonstrated aptitude for technical service and application support in a laboratory setting is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
