SWBC is seeking a talented individual to responsible for Federal, State, and Local tax compliance, accounting and planning.

Essential duties include the following:

Assists in preparing federal tax workpapers and separate proforma returns.Assists in the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly federal and state tax provisions by calculating certain book/tax adjustments.Reconcile federal, state, and local tax accounts and prepare journal entries.Utilizes federal tax return and other financial data to assist in the preparation of state income tax extensions and estimated payments.Assists in the collection of state apportionment data.Prepare sales and use tax returns and make payments in relevant jurisdictions.Records property tax accruals and make payments to local counties.Maintain tax depreciation system and reconcile to general ledger.Updates and documents policies and procedures.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

High school diploma required.  College coursework preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting-related job.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent organization and communication skills.
