We are looking for an algorithm-motivated person/ simulation engineer with an interest in Layer 1 (L1) algorithms (OSI 7-layer model), from system level all the way to L1 architecture and specification of 3GPP - mobile broadband standard. You will be located in Amadora, Portugal, working within a global team and helping to ramp up a new system simulation team.

Position: Entry level
Start Date (tentative): September, 2025
Location: On-site in Amadora, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical engineering, or a related field with an accredited school

You have:

Master or above, major in Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or relatedBackground on wireless/ telecom systemsSkills in programming in MATLAB1 to 2 years of experience in L1 transceiver algorithmsStrong team working skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersFluency in English
