Support the Department Head in motivating and developing a skilled team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Identify and assess employee development needs through coaching and training, promoting career growth.Maintain a well-organized department to maximize efficiency, productivity, and inter-departmental harmony.Ensure consistent quality and presentation of menus, monitor ingredient quality, and maintain food cost targets.Assist in menu development and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.Interact with guests to create personalized dining experiences.Maintain departmental records, rosters, and leave planning while conducting briefings and meetings as required.Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and fair performance feedback to team members.Promote a safe working environment and ensure tools, equipment, and hygiene standards are well-maintained.Handle any additional duties as required.What you bring:
2 to 3 years of supervisory and management experience in the kitchens of a 5-star hotel or resort.Proficiency in diverse world cuisines and a passion for exploring culinary creativity.Strong leadership, management skills, and a growth-oriented mindset.Excellent command of English, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Business acumen combined with creative flair to innovate and elevate dining experiences.A genuine love for food and wines, with a keen interest in staying updated on culinary trends.What we offer:
