We are looking for a Junior Revenue Data Analyst to join our Revenue Management team. The Analyst will primarily support our Revenue Management team by using their analytical skills to gather, validate, and implement pricing strategies based on performance data. In addition will provide managerial reporting and trends for revenue performance. The position works closely with our team of internal analysts, external business partners, and our information technology group. The primary goal is to help us improve the revenue generating effectiveness of our consumer by translating complex and massive data sets into actionable insights and recommendations for senior management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models.
+ Identifies revenue control risk, assists in developing and implementing revenue control plans, and monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the revenue control plans.
+ Analyze and monitor market conditions and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategies.
+ Identify revenue leakage and recommend corrective actions.
+ Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior management.
+ Monitor and test market trends for potential improvement in sales and profitability.
+ Collaborate with multiple departments to align revenue goals and strategies.
+ Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses that will streamline department procedures or find new ways to optimize revenues
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
+ 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis or revenue management.
+ Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with using formulas, vlookups and pivot table and graph
+ Ability to generate ad-hoc data extracts from various databases using Structured Query Language (SQL)
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and presentation abilities.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
+ Must be willing to travel to Los Angeles at least once a quarter
+ Ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Knowledge or experience with Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google BigQuery is preferred but not required
