NYU Wagner currently has a full-time opportunity for a researcher to participate in a series of studies and reports about the New York State health care system, social determinants of health, and Medicaid innovation.
Responsibilities include:
+ Provide general research support
+ Manage and analyze data/graphics using STATA software and Excel
+ Conduct systematic literature reviews for research projects
+ Use survey data, publicly available government data, and claims data
+ Summarize project results
+ Write, review, and edit various materials for publication
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
+ Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative research, including statistical analysis and data visualization
+ Proficiency with STATA and Excel; familiarity with R or Python is a plus
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Posting Range:
NYU Wagner provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400 - $70,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
