Junior QA Tester

As a Junior QA Tester in our Technical Support team, you will be responsible for investigating and reproducing client-reported issues, validating fixes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software products. You’ll collaborate closely with support engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure timely and high-quality resolutions. This role offers hands-on experience with the Microsoft tech stack and exposure to real-world client environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Basic understanding of QA methodologies and software testing principles.Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET, Azure).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced support environment.Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) is a plus.Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical QA role.Analyze and reproduce client-reported incidents in test environments.Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on Verisk Specialty products.Collaborate with support and development teams to validate bug fixes and enhancements.Document test cases, results, and incident findings clearly and accurately.Assist in maintaining and improving QA processes and tools.Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to knowledge base articles.Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
