Your Impact
Hearst Magazines is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, creative junior publicist to join the Communications & PR team. The ideal candidate is a communications professional with PR experience looking to grow under supportive management, working collaboratively within a structured team.
The role requires the ability to quickly prioritize, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will have 1-3 years of experience supporting a PR team, and strong writing and social-media skills. Good judgment, the ability to plan ahead and work efficiently, and a positive attitude are essential.
The Communications & Public Relations team is responsible for driving consumer and trade publicity for Hearst Magazines and its portfolio of brands as well as international communications efforts. This role reports to the Executive Director of PR and supports PR efforts across multiple brands, including ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR, Good Housekeeping, Oprah Daily, and Town & Country.
