Zebra is seeking a Product Manager to join our RFID software team, focusing on the firmware, APIs, and developer tools that enable customers and partners to build integrated solutions with Zebra’s growing family of RFID devices. This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, has some background in software development or RFID, and is excited to learn how embedded systems, device behavior, and secure integration shape enterprise technology. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and developer support teams to help define, test, and improve tools used by customers and developers working with Zebra’s fixed and handheld RFID readers. This role provides strong learning and growth opportunities, especially for individuals looking to deepen their understanding of firmware-based features, low-level API interactions, and enterprise device security. Responsibilities: + Supports product requirements and backlog management for RFID firmware and API capabilities. + Contributes to development and presentation of routine business cases by completing supportive research and other tasks under the supervision of senior team members. + Supports the quarterly Program Increment planning following Agile Scrum techniques, following the solution/product roadmap from the Sr. Product Manager to define and set development priorities. Contributes to product release planning by helping track dependencies between firmware, SDKs, and software tools. + Supports Sr. Product Manager in executing product lifecycle activities for assigned product lines , h elps evaluate customer feedback, identify bugs or gaps in functionality, and participates in testing and troubleshooting efforts. + Leads team as Product Owner following the ALM process to develop product(s) and/or solution(s) validating feature and functional requirements are met. Collaborates with engineers to validate new firmware features and ensure alignment with SDK and API behavior. + Participates and/or leads product launch activities as member of cross functional team. Tasks include SKU setup, ROI model creation, marketing collateral input and feedback, conducting training and webinars and developer community engagement . Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related degree. + Minimum 2+ years of technical experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in software development, embedded systems, technical product support, or RFID/IoT-related deployment. + Familiarity with APIs (RESTful, JSON), communication protocols and tools like Postman. + Basic understanding of firmware or low-level software, hardware-software interaction, and device configuration. + Experience with RFID, RTLS, or IoT device integration in enterprise environments. + Exposure to edge computing and embedded Linux + Understanding of enterprise security principles, such as secure boot, encryption, access control, or secure APIs + Strong process adherence. + Intermediate level skills in Microsoft business applications – Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook. + Strong attention to detail/quality. + Intermediate Market knowledge in assigned category. + Customer service values/orientation. + Strong professional work behaviors- attendance, teamwork, time management, follow through). + Demonstrates good judgement in decision making, applies knowledge and experience to guide decisions. + Intermediate presentation skills. + Strong business acumen. Salary: USD 75100.00 - USD 112700.00 Yearly Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
