The analytics developer will be responsible for engaging directly with the business teams to design and develop impactful, dynamic, and insightful business intelligence visualizations, dashboards, and other analytic tools. The business team is responsible for service logistics and product quality functions including all related analytics to run the business. You will also serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for visualization and computing platforms.  You will lead projects, gather requirements, and develop solutions to support the business teams.

Responsibilities

Power BI Dashboard development. Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop. Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence. Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals. Implement row-level security on data and an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries. Present results from large and/or complex data sets in a coherent and clear format, tailored for the audience as appropriate. Provide support to users in training and education on available data tools. Evaluate current data analytics strategies and work with team in developing recommendations and improvements. Automate manual data processes. Build data model tools to support business processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI. Strong visualization skills to develop easy to use and aesthetically pleasing dashboards. Working knowledge of MS SQL and Azure. Proven track record and enthusiasm for complex problem solving and analysis, including working with large data sets.

Qualifications:

Creating DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Good communication skills and must be able to discuss the requirements effectively. BS/MS in Computer Science or Information System. Besides that, one needs to have considerable work experience in similar fields. Experience of 2+ years in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects. Experience of 2+ years and familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack having Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS. 2 years of experience working with a self-service tools which must include Power BI. Should be familiar and experienced in SQL. Experience in Quality, manufacturing and/or return material authorization data sets.
