Goal:
The U.S. Sustainability Team drives our comprehensive sustainability performance, ensuring our Aerospace engineering partner not only meets its commitments but also leads the aerospace industry towards a responsible and thriving future.
They integrate strategic sustainability roadmaps to reduce the environmental footprint of our operation facilities and support the development of the local communities. We are looking for a sustainability project manager.
A Sustainability PM will manage programs and initiatives that enhance the company's commitment to environmental projects, social responsibility, and robust governance practices. This role involves collaborating with external stakeholders and various internal departments to ensure ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) objectives are integrated into business. This position champions the sustainability vision at our partner with the following qualifications:
TASKS
Environmental Project Implementation Management (High5 )
· Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of High5 environmental projects
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FM, transformation, finance, procurement) to ensure successful implementation of environmental projects ( High5 ).
· Establish Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) usage for operations in Columbus and Grand Prairie
· Track and report on the progress and impact of High5 environmental projects, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as emissions reduction, resource efficiency, and waste minimization.
· Ensure environmental projects align with broader corporate sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
Social Impact Shared Value PMO
· Capture stakeholder expectations from the community and youth sectors to identify opportunities
· Cultivate partnerships with local community organizations, educational institutions, and non-profits
· Manage community investment budgets and resources effectively, maximizing impact.
· Contribute to a clear governance framework for all sponsorships and donations, ensuring strategic alignment in decision-making processes. Support sponsorship and donation requests evaluation
· Report on the social impact and shared value created by these programs, including both qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
· Engage employees in volunteering and community support initiatives related to youth education and local development.
Sustainability Culture, Engagement Strategic Governance (20%)
· Engage with leadership to champion the sustainability agenda and its associated change management. Maintain robust ESG governance frameworks to ensure strategic alignment, effective decision-making.
· Lead the implementation of comprehensive employee engagement programs to foster a strong culture of sustainability, promote training (climate fresk, sustainability bank of knowledge…)
· Lead a network of Sustainability Ambassadors across the sites to drive employee-based sustainability initiatives
Sustainability Strategic Governance (20%)
· Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations, social responsibility standards, and governance best practices, supported by an engaged workforce and strong cultural alignment.
· Oversee the collection of ESG data for performance management and reporting
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Sustainability, Environment
· Project Management Certification is desirable
· 2-5 years in Project Management
· 2-5 years extensive experience with Project Management Tools and Methods
