Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Junior Mechanic to join their team. As a Junior Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting experienced mechanics and electricians. The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation to learn, a desire to build a career in maintenance, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Junior Mechanic

Location: Hudson, NY

Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

Assist in the repair and improvement of production machines under the guidance of senior mechanics. Perform preventative maintenance on production machines to ensure optimal operation. Carry out facilities maintenance duties as assigned to maintain a safe working environment. Keep accurate documentation of work performed and maintain a clean workspace. Support various physical tasks as requested by management and lead mechanics.

What's Needed?

Motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the maintenance field. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Technical school diploma or 2 years of experience working with manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
