What will be your responsibilities? Mastering Freight Invoicing: You'll handle the end-to-end freight clearing invoice processing for both incoming and outgoing shipmentsEnsuring Data Accuracy: Meticulously review documents, confirming the correctness of accounts payable data, delivery/purchase order numbers, Incoterms, shipping modes, and routesTracking & Verification: Utilize various tracking tools to ensure proof of delivery is consistently providedCost Control: Verify invoice tariffs against our established rate cardsStakeholder Engagement: Engage daily with a diverse group of internal colleagues and external partnersDiscrepancy Resolution: Manage claims with freight forwarders to resolve any invoice deviationsRisk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks within payment workflowsProcess Improvement: Actively contribute to team initiatives aimed at optimizing our processes
