Description Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic mortgage operations team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of mortgage experience, who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of loan documentation and submission processes. Experience with Encompass is a significant plus. As a Junior Processor, you will be responsible for managing your own pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate processing of mortgage files from intake through submission. Key Responsibilities: · Pipeline Management: Independently manage a pipeline of mortgage files, maintaining communication with all stakeholders and ensuring timely progression. · Gathering Information: Collect and organize documentation from applicants, bankers, and third-party sources to ensure complete and accurate loan files. · Troubleshooting: Review loan data and resolve issues that may prevent initial submission, ensuring files are clean and ready for underwriting. · Submitting Files to Underwriters: Upload all required documents and submit loan files for initial underwriting review, maintaining compliance and accuracy. Qualifications: · 1–2 years of experience in mortgage processing or a related field · Familiarity with Encompass loan origination software (preferred) · Strong organizational and communication skills · Ability to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously · Comfortable with submitting loans and gathering necessary documentation Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
