Main job function
Junior Legal Advisor who assists with legal research, drafting documents, and providing support to senior legal advisors. They may also be involved in due diligence, compliance, and legal documentation. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Legal Research: Conducting legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law. Document Drafting: Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, letters, and legal correspondence. Compliance Support: Supporting compliance programs and ensuring adherence to legal requirements. Dispute Resolution Support: Assisting with managing disputes and legal proceedings. Due Diligence: Participating in due diligence processes for corporate transactions. Legal Advice: Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders and clients. Liaison: Liaising with external counsel and other legal professionals. Document Management: Maintaining and organizing legal documents and records.
Qualifications
LLB Degree: A Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) is typically required. Articles and Admission: Completion of articles and admission as an Attorney of the High Court is often preferred.Experience
Experience: 2 years in a legal field At least 3 years in a corporate setting.
Criteria
Strong understanding of franchise agreements, retail regulations, and property transactions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters. Excellent contract negotiation and drafting skills.
Salary
600K PA
