As part of the staffing increase of Tangity Product Development team, NTT DATA is looking for a Junior Hardware Test Engineer.
The selected candidate will join the HW Product Validation team for testing new products in the High-End Routing and Optical market segments. Key role of the Hardware Test Engineer is to work in a global environment to validate and bring to production complex and dense electronic blades with high-speed signals and complex ASICS and Optical Components.
The Hardware Test Engineer will interface with several cross-functional teams like HW Design, SW Design, Manufacturing and Product Engineering to develop high quality products.
Moreover, the HW Test Engineer plays a key role in ensure the quality, reliability and compliance of the HW Products throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
•\tValidate the compliance to internal specs as well as industry standards and test performances of Optical HW devices such as muxponders, amplifiers, pluggable components used in DWDM systems.
•\tDefine the test process and procedure, write complete unit and system-level test plans for the unit and/or the entire product line.
•\tImplement unit and system-level testing, debug, isolate, analyze sophisticated problems, and help facilitate the root cause, resolution, and closure.
•\tExecuting tests to identify defects and malfunctions in the system.
•\tAnalyzing test results to identify issues and root causes.
•\tSupport HW/SW Design Engineers and provide feedback on complex issues.
•\tDocumenting test results, defects, and fixes in a clear and concise manner.
•\tReporting on test progress and results to stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
•\tMaster’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications.
•\tKnowledge of Optical Engineering fundamentals at least at academic level.
•\tMax 1 year of experience in telecommunication companies (smart newly graduated profiles can also be evaluated).
•\tKnowledge of or experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting languages or automation tools.
•\tSelf-motivated, highly autonomous
•\tCurious and willing to learn
•\tCreative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
•\tEffective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•\tFluent written and spoken English knowledge.
Nice to have:
•\tKnowledge of HW design and implementation processes.
•\tKnowledge of HW verification and HW emulation/debugging methodologies and tools.
•\tExperience in Optical or Electronic Design and Verification Testing is a strong plus
