**Job Description:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Wastewater/Water Engineer** with an **Engineer-in-Training (EIT)** certification to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to design, analyze, and implement wastewater treatment and conveyance systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and innovative environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in the design and analysis of wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection systems.
+ Perform hydraulic modeling and calculations to support system design and optimization.
+ Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
+ Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and ensure project compliance with design specifications.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for wastewater challenges.
+ Support the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in wastewater engineering.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
+ 0-2 years of relevant experience in wastewater engineering or a related field (internship experience is a plus).
+ Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
+ Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar) is a plus.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to project needs.
+ Willingness to travel locally for site visits and fieldwork as required.

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
