Junior Data Steward, Enterprise Finance Master Data

About the Role: 

In this opportunity as a Junior Data Steward, Enterprise Finance Master Data​, you will:

Communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management.Must be able to juggle several activities and projects simultaneously and set appropriate priorities for self.Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Establish and maintain finance master data databases within Thomson Reuters global environment, including accurate and timely management of general ledger account, profit and cost center requests and foreign currency tables.Administer the monthly accounting period control to ensure timely closure of SAP modules and authorization group changes.Provide first line data support to users of systems to help resolve customer questions and tickets on a range of finance master data topics.BlackLine (account reconciliation tool) system administration. This includes user setup, trouble shooting, and SOX compliance review.Communicate with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure consistent application of Thomson Reuters' policies and procedures including adherence to finance master data design and operating principles.Update and maintain departmental procedures.

About You 

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes: 

Advanced English proficiency (candidates will be tested before setting up an interviewBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related degree is required2 + years related experiencePrevious Master Data Management or SAP experience with FI/CO and creation and maintenance of finance master data elements preferred.Effective oral and written communication skillsProficient in PC computer applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting in a global business operating with financial systems experienceProficiency in establishing new client relationships and effectively managing existing relationships to meet the financial and business goals of the organizationResults oriented and delivering on objectives is crucial to establishing a reputation for high performance and customer satisfaction
