International Credit and Collections (ICC) strives to help Customers in need through the possible repayment options, and taking actions to recover balances, preventing losses for American Express.
ICC is part of the broader Global Servicing (GS). Our team delivers superior service across the globe, maintaining Customer satisfaction at best-in-class levels. Everyone of our Junior Credit Analysts represents the American Express Brand. They are problem solvers and relationship builders, acting with energy and integrity.
**How will you make an impact in this role?**
The Junior Credit Analyst analyzes Cardmembers accounts, manages cards’ operativity, contacts and supports Customers with understanding how to clear delinquencies and return current with payments, provides general Credit related information, and uses different contact channels to provide excellent communication with Customers. All this is done delivering an exceptional Customer Service and acting in compliance with local rules and regulations.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Ability to drive and support Customer to pay the past due amount
+ Telephonic conversations management skills, both inbound and outbound
+ Ability to ensure valuable contacts with Customers in a multi-channel environment (i.e. sms, email, phone, letters)
+ Inclination to drive the highest levels of Customer satisfaction and engagement
+ Perform a verification activity on documentation received from Customer, delegates or other institutions, with the aim of managing credit card operativity
+ Result driven mindset with focus on Collected amount, efficiency and quality metrics
+ Productivity and focus on targets, being confident in giving and receiving feedback and in working to grow
+ Strong verbal communication and engagement skills: professional, respectful and clear
+ A passion for Customer service with exceptional listening and relationship building skills
+ Team playing spirit, whilst able to take initiative and work independently
+ Will to win attitude
+ Self-motivation and positive thinking, being both creative and analytical
+ Ability to retain a substantial amount of financial information, policies and procedural guidelines
+ Ability to respond professionally to adverse situations in a pressured environment, making quick and accurate decisions
+ A good level of experience with Microsoft Office package and familiarity with PC and common PC applications.
+ Willingness to work in a shift pattern
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in a contact center environment
+ A good level of English Language is strongly recommendable
+ Good fluency in other foreign languages will be considered a plus
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Italy is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
