As Junior Clinical Science Liaison in Italy, you will play a pivotal role to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Reporting to the Practice Change & Clinical Science Liaison Manager, the Junior Clinical Science Liaison support the ensurance of clinical practice leaders, having the disease awareness and product understanding to support the safe and effective use of AstraZeneca medicines. The Junior Clinical Science Liaison supports post-approval products and advocates for evidence-based product differentiation and changes in medical practice. This role works closely with field-based customer-facing roles in Medical Affairs (e.g., Medical Science Liaison) and Commercial (e.g. sales representatives and first line sale managers)
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
The role broadly includes the following key components:
Support the development of scientific partnerships with community healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of AstraZeneca marketed productsDelivers disease education programs and product information within assigned therapeutic area; advocates for evidence-based product differentiation and changes in medical practice, including guideline implementationRemoves scientific barriers to enable the sales organization to effectively promote AstraZeneca productsResponds to unsolicited requests for product information from clinical practice leaders submitted through the commercial organizationGathers scientific insight from clinical practice leaders to shape brand strategiesServes as an expert on products within assigned therapeutic area; maintains up-to-date knowledge at all timesManaging all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislationESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
