What you'll do

As a Junior Developer (f/m/d) you will be a member of an inspired team, focusing on the development of one of the planning UIs of SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP), the SAP IBP, add-in for Microsoft Excel. This UI is used across almost all SAP IBP applications and by tens of thousands end users every month around the globe. The main programming language used is C#. 

In your role as a Junior Developer (f/m/d):

You will design, implement and test the solutions within SAP IBP using the latest technologies  You will apply agile software engineering methods in a dynamic development environment with a solution-oriented attitude You will support quality activities, like the creation of test documents and creation of automated tests  You understand the business requirements and translate them to concepts and designs  You take responsibility and ensure completion of assigned tasks on time and with high quality You will support customers in solving issues and maintaining the solution 

 

What you bring


We are looking for an eager Junior Software Developer (f/m/d) who possesses strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a self-motivated team member, you should have a genuine enthusiasm for programming and a desire to continuously learn new technologies. Your eagerness to grow and adapt in a fast-paced environment will play a crucial role in your success within our team.


Required skills:

Good to excellent bachelor’s or master’s degree or apprenticeship/vocational training in computer science, business informatics or related fields like software engineering, physics or mathematics  Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented programming language like C#, Java, TypeScript or C++ and strong understanding around the concepts of object-oriented programming  Basic understanding of REST- webservices, and HTTP methods Knowledge of common data formats such as JSON and XML Experience with Git or a comparable version control system Knowledge in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), MVC (Model View Controller) and .Net are a plus Knowledge of Generative AI technologies is a plus Fluent English, both written and spoken and basic German language skills
