Position Overview

Davey Tree is a leader in arboricultural and landscape services throughout the US and Canada. Our Corporate Offoce is seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Buyer position. 

 

The Junior Buyer performs a variety of administrative, technical, and organizational tasks to support Field Operations.

 

Position is Monday-Friday, in-person.

Job Duties

The Junior Buyer position includes the following duties, functions, and responsibilities:

Send requests for quotes and negotiate pricing and contracts. Enter purchase order information. Working in SAP Maintain data integrity. Coordinate with distributors and suppliers. Expedite orders and communicate with top management. Accurately manage and transform data into Excel spreadsheets. Create graphs, diagrams, forms, and other documents. Create and track invoices and payments. Respond to email and telephone inquiries. Documentation of processes. Follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules. Perfom all duties as required. Report timely and accurately to Manager. Work as assistant to Purchasing Manager. Perfom other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, and Excel. Previous experience in SAP Aptitude for learning new software and systems quickly 1-2 years of previous experience High School Diploma or GED Additional Information
