Your New Role…

As a Junior Business Analyst, based in Milan, you’ll be part of the EMEA Digital team, helping expand HBO Max’s streaming service across established and emerging markets—including Italy, Germany, the UK, Nordics, Benelux, France, Central and Eastern Europe, and Iberia. You’ll help shape digital advertising strategies – turning data into insights that influence product planning, commercial results and market launches.

You’ll be part of an international team where your contributions will help guide performance tracking, strategic planning, and customer experience improvements.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Track and report on digital advertising KPIs across multiple EMEA markets.

Investigate audience behaviour, ad delivery, and revenue trends to identify opportunities and flag performance issues.

Work with local Research teams and Digital Leads to tailor insights for market-specific strategies.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership updates and monthly business reviews.

Monitor competitors and emerging trends in digital streaming and advertising.

Facilitate campaign diagnostics and performance reviews.

Align with central DTC (direct to consumer) and ad tech teams to ensure consistent tracking and reporting.

Contribute to customer-focused assessments to identify monetisation opportunities and enhance user experience.

Qualifications & Experience…

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. 

Previous experience in digital analytics, advertising, media, or DTC streaming. 

Comfortable with: 

Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets (pivot tables, charts, formulas) 

Looker/ Looker Studio or other BI tools 

Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms 

Familiarity with digital advertising metrics (impressions, CPM, ad loads, etc.) 

Experience working with streaming metrics such as stream starts, watch time, and churn. 

Excellent communication skills in English (Italian or German is a plus).
